It would appear that there’s just one baby in the blackbird nest, just outside our window. And it’s growing very quickly, being well fed by the dad. Mum seemed to disappear when there was no longer room for her in the nest, and hasn’t been seen since. Maybe she’s somewhere else, getting ready for more eggs?
You can see how the little one suddenly perks up and pays attention when dad’s on the way with food.
